The Fillmore County Board met in special session at the Courthouse in the City of Preston. All members were present. Also present were the Coordinator/Clerk, County Attorney, Auditor, other department heads and staff, citizens, and two members of the press.

The following resolutions/ordinances were adopted by the Board:ORDINANCE NO. 2005-01: Rural Addressing

The Board approved the following agenda items:•the amended agenda.•the following Consent Agenda: 1.July 26, 2005 County Board minutes. 2.July 5, 2005 Social Services minutes. 3.Anniversary increase for Gail Bunge, Financial Assistance Supervisor, effective September 1, 2005 to Merit Grade 8/Step J. 4.Final invoice of $85.50 from WSB & Associates for parallel taxiway grading construction on Fillmore County Airport.•purchase of a UPS and battery pack for radio tower at low quote of $685.50 from GovConnection.•rejected bid of $819,298.00 from Minnowa for Project SAP 23-599-160, Carrolton Twp. Bridge and roadway approaches, Section 23.•begin process to have positions classified within Local #49, International Union of Operating Engineers, by Bjorklund at request of union. •re-hire Rockne West on a temporary basis with feedlot grant funds to complete feedlot inventory.
