Hitting can be contagious. On certain nights, baseballs just fly. In Caledonia on a Monday night, that was the case. It wasn't necessarily a good thing for the Chatfield Gophers. Things began okay. Thru 2 ½ the Gophers led 6-4, but then the Warrior-Lions engineered a 6-run 3rd, taking a 10-6 lead. Each club would add more runs, but C-SG's stayed ahead. They prevailed 15-8. The teams combined for four home runs. Chatfield's Nate Vogen hit his 4th of the season (4 RBI's) and Tyler Lund his 2nd (2 RBI's). Erik Hilgren was 2-3 (both doubles, 2 RBI's). C-SG countered with Houston Halverson's monster day (3-4, HR, 6 RBI's). Travis Frank also 'touched 'em all' (3 RBI's). Cole O'Heron and Austin Georgen each went 3-4. The Gophers didn't help their own cause. They committed 6 errors.
