September 27, 2005 County Board Meeting The Fillmore County Board met in special session at the Courthouse in the City of Preston. All members were present. Also present were the Coordinator/Clerk, County Attorney, Auditor, other department heads and staff, citizens, and two members of the press. The following resolutions were adopted by the Board: RESOLUTION 2005-062:Support of 4-H Week The Board approved the following agenda items: •the amended agenda. •the following Consent Agenda: 1.September 13, 2005 County Board minutes. 2.Reinvest $500,000.00 of Road & Bridge Funds. 3.Renewal of Tobacco licenses for period of October 1, 2005 through September 30, 2006 for the following: Coyote’s Saloon, Chatfield; Shooter’s On & Off Sale, Wykoff; Amherst Store, Wykoff Short Stop, Peterson American Legion Post #526, and Highland Store. 4.Transfer of 1998 Chevrolet 1/2 ton pickup from Highway to Sanitation Department, effective immediately. 5.Transfer of 1991 Blazer from Sanitation to Highway Department, effective immediately. 6.Payment of invoice of $7,540.00 from SE MN Development Corporation for 4th quarter of 2005. •Delegation Addendum agreement between UCare and Fillmore County for case management services for MN Senior Health Options. •County participation agreement between UCare and Fillmore County for case management services for MN Senior Health Options. •amend Emergency Action Plan Annex to add a Wildfire section. •purchase of Veterans VIMS software update for $600.00 from Sterling Solutions, Inc. •accept donation of flowering crab tree for courthouse lawn in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month to be dedicated at a ceremony on Monday, October 3, 2005. •for Auditor/Treasurer to do a journal entry to transfer expense for an appropriation of $2,000.00 for SE Minnesota Emergency Medical Services from Unallocated Department to Emergency Management Department. •award Rural Addressing Sign materials and hardware bid to Lyle Sign, Eden Prairie, at low bid of $111,279.00, based on estimated quantities. •award Rural Addressing Sign posts bid to Earl F. Anderson at low bid of $38,035.61, based on estimated quantities. •award Rural Addressing Sign installation bid to Hiller Bros. at low bid of $71,850.50. •increase reimbursement rate for use of private vehicles for official business to federal rate (or $.485 per mile), effective September 1, 2005 as a one-time action due to volatility of fuel prices due to hurricanes to be in effect through end of year. •authorize signature of proposed stipulation with Aquila, Inc. dba People’s Natural Gas Company, et al. vs. Commissioner of Revenue, et al.
