October 4, 2005 County Board Meeting The Fillmore County Board met in special session at the Courthouse in the City of Preston. All members were present. Also present were the aCoordinator/Clerk, Auditor, other department heads and staff, citizens, and two members of the press. The following resolutions were adopted by the Board: NONE The Board approved the following agenda items: •the amended agenda. •the following Consent Agenda: 1.September 27, 2005 County Board minutes. 2.September 6, 2005 Social Services minutes. 3.Tobacco license for Borgy’s Off-Sale and renewal of tobacco license for Chosen Valley Sports Saloon, Chatfield for period of October 4, 2005 through September 30, 2006. 4.Overnight stay for Fred Horihan, Property Appraiser, to attend PVC course. 5.Overnight stays for two Public Health staff to attend Child & Teen Checkup and Safe Communities training sessions. 6.Approve flu shots for County employees at $20.00 each, or in event of any shortage, for those employees qualifying under MN guidelines as an employee benefit. 7.Final (#5) payment of $7,307.45 to Calibre Contracting for Courthouse Addition and remodeling . 8.Payment #16 of $5,053.71 to DMC Plumbing & Heating for Courthouse Addition and remodeling. 9.Payment #17 of $38,837.80 to DMC Plumbing & Heating for Courthouse Addition and remodeling. 10.Final (#3) payment of $1,310.00 to Hawk & Sons for Courthouse Addition and remodeling. 11.Final (#6) payment of $2,728.75 to Twin City Tile & Marble for Courthouse Addition and remodeling. 12.Annual renewal of 2006 agreement with MII Life for third party administration of short-term disability policy at $1.20 (same as 2005) per employee per month. 13.Appoint Rodney Koliha to Economic Development Authority as Township representative. •set public hearing at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2005 for public comment on proposed Help America Vote Act plan.
