Summary of MinutesOctober 25, 2005 County Board Meeting

The Fillmore County Board met in special session at the Courthouse in the City of Preston. All members were present. Also present were the Coordinator/Clerk, County Attorney, Auditor, other department heads and staff, citizens, and two members of the press.

The following resolutions were adopted by the Board:RESOLUTION 2005-064: Conditional Use Permit for Lynn Tienter for sand pit, Carimona TownshipRESOLUTION 2005-065: Conditional Use Permit as amended for Tom Gartner and Gaylen Thompson for campground, Section 25, Fountain Township

The Board approved the following agenda items:•consider an amendment to agenda to consider action on building permit and late fees for Tracy and Mike Peterson.•the amended agenda.•the following amended Consent Agenda:1.October 11, 2005 County Board minutes.2.Signature of Certificate of Recognition for Pat Troendle for service on Water Planning Citizens Advisory Committee. 3.Re-appointment of Lindsey C. Thomas, M.D. as Fillmore County Coroner for 2006.4.Appointment of Wayne Stenberg, Bluff Country HRA, to Fillmore County Economic Development Authority.5.Fourth quarter invoice for $41,250.00 from Southeastern Libraries Cooperating for rural library services.6.Renewal of 2006 agreement with MII Life for administration of flexible spending accounts at $1,500.00 per year and $2.45 per participant per month with SelectAccount. 7.Regular status for Barry Saylor, Transfer Station Attendant, effective October 31, 2005.•agreement with State of Minnesota for South Branch Root River Watershed Project. •disbursements to replenish accounts used to pay insurance premiums. increase of 3% for general salary adjustments for non-union employees to be effective with first payroll of 2006.•renewal of 2006 Basic Life and Voluntary Life, Long Term Disability and Dental policies with Och’s, Inc. at Municipal Pool rates.•letter of resignation to retire from Larry T. Hunt, Veteran Services Officer/Emergency Management Services Director, effective January 31, 2005.•enter into Federal Airport Improvement Grants Agreement with the Federal Aviation Administration.•access permit for Brent and Danah Morey, to CSAH #102, Section 13, Jordan Township.•access permit for Andy and Gail Bunge to CSAH #12, City of Preston.•waive Zoning late fee for Andrew and Gail Bunge due to County administrative error. •table motion concerning charging Peterson’s for second building permit and waiving late fee. •terms of proposed contract for 2006 economic development services as amended.
