November 22, 2005 County Board Meeting The Fillmore County Board met in special session at the Courthouse in the City of Preston. All members were present. Also present were the Coordinator/Clerk, County Attorney, Auditor, other department heads and staff, citizens, and two members of the press. The following resolutions were adopted by the Board: NONE The Board approved the following agenda items: •remove purchase of sweeper for Preston Shop from agenda. •add consideration of access permit to CSAH #23 for Daniel L. and Cathleen A. Volkman. •the amended agenda. •the following Consent Agenda: 1.November 8, 2005 County Board minutes. 2.Advertisement for 2006 County printing until 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 2006. •out-of-state travel policy in accordance with MS 471.661 with addition of following language: “which does require an overnight stay.” •access permit for John W. and Arlys A. Edson to County Road #38, Spring Valley Township, for construction of a home. •access permit to CSAH #23, for Daniel L. and Cathleen A. Volkman, Holt Township, for a field access. •2005 Annual County Feedlot Officer Report and authorized signature of same. •2006 Annual County Feedlot Program Work plan and authorized signature of same. •hire Jeff Dyreson at Grade 2/Step 1 as replacement full time custodian. •affirmed part-time (.5 FTE) status of Ron Laughlin, Custodian. •2006 monthly health insurance renewal rates with Blue Cross/Blue Shield as presented. •2006 renewal of health insurance with Blue Cross Blue Shield and 2006 County contribution rates at the following rates per month per employee of $489.10 for single and $875.00 for family. •recommendation to update Affiliated Computer Systems contract. •hold Health insurance renewal information sessions at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. in Room 108 at Fillmore County Office Building on Tuesday, November 29, 2005 and set open enrollment dates for renewal of 2006 health insurance, SelectAccount, and voluntary insurance policy plans for period of Monday, November 28 through Friday, December 9, 2005. •transfer $300,000.00 from County Revenue Fund to Road and Bridge Fund as designated from sale of County farm. •purchase of replacement Hotsy high pressure commercial washer at low quote of $5,419.00 from Hotsy Cleaning Equipment . •accept Kevin Peterson’s resignation, effective Tuesday, November 29, 2005. •advertise in-house for replacement .4 FTE Assistant County Attorney at Grade 13.
