The Lanesboro boys, playing their first game of the season (as a result of a prolonged football campaign), toppled Rochester's Schaeffer Academy 72-38. All but one of the Burro's starters reached double figures, Cory Strom. He had 9. Braden Hanson led the way with 13 but was trailed closely by Jacob Rogers, Justin Gudmundson, and Lucas Johnson all with 12. Glasswork told a big story in the game as Lanesboro held a 54-28 rebounding advantage. With 13 and 12 caroms snagged respectively, Hanson and Gudmundson each notched double-doubles.

The Lady Burros also played Schaeffer Academy, coming away with their first win of the season. They did so by the narrowest of margins, 35-34. Paige Hungerholt led the way scoring 14 points, grabbing 4 rebounds, and dishing out 3 assists. Jen Warrenburg helped out scoring 6 points and grabbing 5 rebounds. The win moved the Lady Burros record to 1-3 (1-2 in conference).
