Fillmore Central's Colton Hampel had his second big performance in as many weeks. Just five days removed from hitting three-three's and scoring 21 versus nemesis Lanesboro, in a loss, he hit 5-three's and scored 25 points, in a loss to Kingsland. The Knights controlled the game from the start, amassing a 49-30-halftime lead. Turning the ball over only seven times total, they never looked back enroute to an 87-61 victory. Coming off back-to-back solid games himself (17 versus Caledonia, 18 versus D-E), Kingsland junior guard Tanner Lange nearly matched Hampel's output, scoring 24 to lead the home team. Big-man Jacob Harder had 18 and 12. Lange's backcourt mate Joey Strike only scored 6, but he dished out 8 assists. Nate Vorwerk (11 points) was one of 8 other Knights to reach the scoring column.
