Sethre Media Group is expanding in a new direction. Both the Fillmore County Journal and the Olmsted County Journal will be debuting new web sites soon, and with these sites will be the opportunity for businesses to advertise. Derrick Chapman has recently been hired as an online consultant and web design consultant.
Chapman was born in Owatonna, but grew up in Fillmore County, graduating from Fillmore Central High School in 1999. He is currently studying Business Management through Western Governor's University in Salt Lake City, Utah. He lives in Rochester with his wife Katie and their two daughters, Olivia and Simone.
Most recently, Chapman worked for the Post-Bulletin in sales. He also operated the printing press during his time there.
"The opportunity to start something and grow something is intriguing to me," said Chapman.
Chapman enjoys building relationships with people, learning new things, and meeting new people. He is very excited for the new adventure ahead of him.
