For the third time this season, the FCL Falcons baseball team found some home field heroics. After 8 and ½ innings of competition, FCL was still knotted at two with visiting Lewiston-Altura. In the bottom of the 9th, Nick Ebner collected a one-out single. He moved up to second on an error (that allowed Tyler Eickhoff to reach first). Jake Ristau then delivered a hit up the middle against a drawn in infield, scoring Ebner for the win. Eickhoff paced FCL hitting, going 2-5. Ebner reached safely in all four at-bats (one hit, three walks). Colton Hampel recorded his 5th win of the season, going the 9-inning distance, surrendering two runs on five hits while striking out nine.
