Pauline Reinhardt obituary, Fillmore County Journal

Pauline O. Reinhardt, 84, of Fountain, died Saturday, September 3, 2022, at home, surrounded by her family.

Pauline was born July 3, 1938, to Alfred and Harriet (Gray) Hanson in Chatfield, Minn.  She graduated from Chatfield High School in 1956.  Pauline’s love and passion was doing whatever she could to help on the farm. She helped with any job that was asked of her on her parents’ farm.  She married Loren Reinhardt August 1, 1970, at the Fountain Lutheran Church.  Pauline worked for the local telephone company as a telephone operator during her younger years, but most of her married years was being a homemaker on their farm just outside of Fountain.  She enjoyed any kind of animal, especially her cow named Honey, and the many barn cats that decided to call her farm, home.  When she wasn’t working on the farm, she enjoyed dancing and playing cards with friends and family.  She adored each and every one of her grandkids – they meant the world to her.  She loved gardening and spending as much time as she could outdoors.

She is survived by her two sons, Ted (Renae) Reinhardt of Fountain and Matt Reinhardt of Fountain; seven grandchildren: Haley, Blake, twins Corbin and Teagan, Jared, Tristin and Devin; two sisters, Geraldine (Dale) Thompson of Harmony, Minn., and Diane (Lowell) Meeker of Chatfield, Minn.; sister-in-law June Hanson of Fountain, Minn., and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceeded in death by her husband Loren, and her three brothers: Tom, Junior, and Mike.

Celebration of life for Pauline will be from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, September 25, at the Fountain Lutheran Church. A private burial will be haeld for her immediate family.

Riley Funeral & Cremation Service is assisting the Reinhardt family with arrangements.  Online condolences are welcome at rileyfuneralhomes.com.
