Dennis Warner in concert at the Preston Public Library

Fri, Jun 6th, 2014
Posted in Preston Arts & Culture

Folk/Americana singer and songwriter Dennis Warner blends humor, audience participation and serious music into a memorable and fun concert for adults and families.

Warner has toured extensively throughout North America during his 20+ year career, appearing numerous times on both television and radio. In recognition of his contributions as a songwriter, he was honored with a performance at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C.

“SEEDS” is Dennis Warner’s ninth CD, released in January 2012. The CD was produced at his own Thousand Pines recording studio in Minnesota and features Warner as a solo artist and also with his longtime band “the D’s”. Several of his musical friends join in with guest appearances, including J.D. Steele (Prince), Paul Diethelm (Jonny Lang) and Freebo (Bonnie Raitt). “SEEDS” is currently receiving radio airplay throughout the U.S. as well as in other countries.

Warner’s career blossomed a few years ago with the release of his song “Beads on One String” as a children’s book. Already into its fourth printing, “Beads on One String” has become a favorite with teachers and parents alike for its powerful, positive message of unity along with its beautiful illustrations.

Dennis Warner accompanies his smooth vocals with his own unique, percussive style of playing the six and 12 string guitars. Warner’s concerts are suitable for all ages.

More information on Dennis Warner is available on the web: www.Warner Songs.com.
