LANESBORO, Minn. - “Can’t get your fill of sing-alongs? Me neither,” says Dan Chouinard. Back by popular demand, Minneapolis-based musician Dan Chouinard (www.danchouinard.com) will host an Old-Fashioned Holiday Sing-along on Friday, Decemeber 20 at 7:30 p.m. at the St. Mane Theatre. Chouinard will host the evening, with his fantastic piano and accordion playing, and his gentle spirit and genuine appreciation for sharing stories with the audience. As a special treat for our Lanesboro audience, he will bring along Peter Ostroushko, Minneapolis-based Emmy Award-winning composer and fiddle and mandolin maestro who has collaborated with everyone from 100-year old Lloyd Johnson to Bob Dylan to Willie Nelson to the Kremlin Chamber Orchestra in Moscow. The evening will also feature local talent including the Bethlehem Boyz, the Rutabaga Brothers, the Rhubarb Sisters, Accordionation (trio of Barb Keith, Lynn Susag & Bill Swanson), Walter Bradley & Tom Schramm, Bertram Boyum, and our favorite whistler Carla Noack. Come share your holiday spirit with Dan and everyone!

Tickets are $15 / $12 LAC members, with proceeds benefitting the St. Mane Theatre. Advance purchase recommended; tickets are available at Lanesboro Arts Center, 507-467-2446; and at the door, space permitting. The St. Mane Theatre is located at 206 Parkway Ave N. in Lanesboro.

The Old-Fashioned Holiday Sing-Along is presented by the Lanesboro Arts Center, serving the community as a regional catalyst for artistic excellence and educational development in providing diverse art experiences for people of all ages. For more information: 507-467-2446 / info@lanesboroarts.org / www.lanesboroarts.org. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a Minnesota State Arts Board Operating Support grant, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
