3rd Annual Art Show

On Monday, May 6th the Fillmore Central Art Department will present their 3rd Annual Student Art Show. The art show will takes place in the High School Stage Gym in conjunction with the 7-12th grade vocal music concert, which is at 8:00 pm. Art work will be on display starting at 6:30 pm and will remain on display until the end of the music concert around 9:00 pm.
Art work will feature pieces from students in grades 7-12. Awards will be given to pieces including best of show, teachers choice and honorable mention as well as in the areas of drawing, painting, mixed media, and 3-D for both the 9-12 and the 7-8th graders. Art work includes projects from through out the year in mediums such as watercolor, acrylic, oil pastel, pen, pencil, marker, colored pencil, plaster masks, painted shoes, plaster carving, and more.
Please come out to view the art work on Monday evening May 6th and support our student artist. Admission is free to the event, art show and vocal music concert. Please feel free to contact art teacher Carrie Mathison with any questions regarding the event at carriemathison@isd2198.k12.mn.us.

Harmony bloodmobile collects 40 units
