Fri, Jul 25th, 2014
Posted in Harmony Health & Wellness

The blood drive held in Harmony on July 15, 2014, succeeded in collecting 35 units of blood. This number was achieved by two donors giving two units, as there were only 34 donors who presented, and two first-time participants. Congratulations to these six donors who reached the following milestones:

Richard Berg – 10 gallons

Joseph P. Hahn – 4 gallons

Genny Hanson – 1 gallon

Jane Montgomery – 5 gallons

Cheryl Nagel – 1 gallon

Janell Randa – 5 gallons

The bloodmobile is sponsored by the Harmony American Legion Auxiliary, and many of the volunteers are Auxiliary members. However, numerous volunteers from the community also help make our blood drives successful. Thank you to everyone for your continued support in this worthwhile effort.

The next bloodmobile will be in Harmony on Tuesday, September 23, 2014, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. (please note this drive ends one hour earlier than normal). If you’d like to schedule an appointment, please call Marilyn Bratager at 507-937-3406 or schedule one online at http://www.redcrossblood.org/.
