The Lanesboro boys, playing their first game of the season (as a result of a prolonged football campaign), toppled Rochester's Schaeffer Academy 72-38. Braden Hanson led the way with 13 but was trailed closely by Jacob Rogers, Justin Gudmundson, and Lucas Johnson all with 12. Glasswork told a big story in the game as Lanesboro held a 54-28 rebounding advantage. With 13 and 12 caroms snagged respectively, Hanson and Gudmundson each notched double-doubles.

The Lady Burros also played Schaeffer Academy, coming away with their first win of the season. They did so by the narrowest of margins, 35-34. Paige Hungerholt led the way scoring 14 points, grabbing 4 rebounds, and dishing out 3 assists. Jen Warrenburg helped out scoring 6 points and grabbing 5 rebounds. The win moved the Lady Burros record to 1-3 (1-2 in conference).
