Murphy's Letter To the Editor,

Fri, Nov 1st, 2002

We have an opportunity to elect someone to the legislature with the type of experience to really serve our area (House District 31B) well. He's Al Hein. Al is a small business person and a grain farmer. He's milked cows and raised beef and hogs.

Al can make the tough decisions after going through the radical changes that have occurred in farming.

Al has worked hard to promote issues beneficial to our communities.

Al Hein has amply demonstrated in his campaign that he will be an independent person with the dual endorsement of the DFL and Tim Penny.

Elect Al Hein to the Minnesota House of Representatives.

Tom Murphy

My heart goes out to the Canton family being victimized by Fillmore County Zoning. It is very discouraging to know that rights which have been purchased by patriotic blood, guaranteed in the Constitution, and affirmed in numerous court cases are stil .....

We are a county that depends heavily on agriculture as an industry, and in talking to our farming neighbors with the issues they face, it would seem that they should be represented at the state level by someone who understands these challenges. Al He .....

I'd like to ask my opponent Greg Davids, "Greg, whose bus do you ride on--Houston and Fillmore Counties' or the Twin Cities' suburban bus?"

In 1999 I testified in St. Paul three times on property tax relief--for Rep. Michelle Ri .....

With the elections fast approaching, it is important for us to decide who we want as our next county attorney. Brett Corson is the ideal choice for such a position. Brett is a hard worker who is not afraid to deal with the legal issues in our county .....
