The public is invited to a special celebration at the historic Lenora United Methodist Church on Sunday, July 11th, at 3:00 p.m. We've been told that an "old" circuit rider from the mid-1800's may be riding in on his horse. We will also dedicate the new wood shingle roof on the old church building. It will be a happy Sunday afternoon in Lenora at the old church. A special free-will offering will be received for maintenance and upkeep. The old Lenora Church, begun in 1856 ,is located off Fillmore County Road 23 in the small village of Lenora. For more information about the old church, please consult the webpage for the Fillmore County History Center.
