Rushford-Peterson Schools to establish facilities task force

Sat, Dec 11th, 2010
Posted in Education

Rushford-Peterson Schools is establishing a task force to study the facility and related educational needs of its early childhood through 12th grade students. It is the desire of the school board for the task force to be composed of members who provide a broad representation of the community. District residents are encouraged to commit to serve on this task force.

It is intended that the task force will conduct its planning through a series of six meetings to be held beginning in January and completed by the end of March, 2011. These meeting will last approximately two hours and be held on a weekday in the early evening time frame. At the conclusion of the meetings, a report of the task force findings will be presented to the board of education. These findings will be used for further presentations and discussion within the community to provide input to assist the board of education in making decisions regarding the future facility needs for Rushford-Peterson Schools.

If you are interested and willing to commit to serving on the task force, please call Supt. Chuck Ehler at the District Office: 507-864-7785 or email chuckehler@r-pschools.com no later than Monday December 13, 2010. The task force will be formed from the names of the individuals that indicate they would be interested in participating.

If you have any questions, please call Mr. Chuck Ehler, Superintendent of Schools at 507-864-7785 or Beth Theede, Director of Community Education at 507-864-7065.
