An update on the Lanesboro water situation

Thu, Feb 13th, 2014
Posted in Lanesboro Business Announcements

Lanesboro is currently experiencing freezing water pipes throughout town. The city will continue to work to restore water service to affected homes and busiensses. However, outages may continue to occur. The City is asking everyone to please turn a cold water faucet on to a pencil sized stream.

As temperatures rise, it is essential that the water is kept running. Please continue to run water even under warmer temperatures until notified by Lanesboro Public Utilities. Water bills will be adjusted. We are working hard to restore customers as quickly as possible. We will continue to keep everyone posted as we go along. The City's cable channel, the phone at city hall (507-467-3722), as well as the City website will be updated with current information.
