Lanesboro, Minn. May 11, 2010 - The seventh annual Rhubarb Festival will be held Saturday, June 4, 2011, from 10am until 4pm at Sylvan Park in Lanesboro, Minn.

Taste Everything Rhubarb! You will be able to taste everything made with rhubarb from pies to pickles, savories to sweets, plus everything in between. Then vote for your favorite.

Great entertainment has been planned for the Festival with a free concert from Lou and Peter Berryman, regulars on Prairie Home Companion. Try your hand at the five fun games in the Rhubarb Olympics, Pie Making Contest, or the Rhubarb Chopstick minute-to win-it contest. Aprons as Art, Rhub-Art for the kids, bake sales, new vendors, Farmers Market, Rhubarb Rants, and contests for the largest leaf and heaviest stalk are all part of this fun day.

Get your copy of the new Rhubarb Festival cookbook "Everything Rhubarb," that includes both recipes and stories from a small town that celebrates rhubarb.

Music, food, fun and prizes.... it's free family fun! Come celebrate Saturday, June 4, at the Rhubarb Festival in Lanesboro, the Rhubarb Capital of Minnesota.
