Ruth T. Johnson

Ruth T. Johnson, 81, died Dec. 3, 2000, in Wenatchee, Washington.

Ruth T. Abraham was born March 30, 1919, in Mankato. She married Stanley L. Johnson on June 5, 1937, in Minneapolis. They moved to this area in 1939. The Johnsons owned and operated the Johnson Funeral Home and Johnson Furniture in Lanesboro until 1980. Mr. Johnson died Oct. 7, 1980.

Survivors include a son, James (Marlys) of Rushford; two daughters, Suzanne (Terry) Sorum of Wenatchee and Catherine (Edward) Carlson of Minocqua, Wis.; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister.

A graveside service was held May 13, 2001 at Lanesboro Cemetery, with the Rev. Kerry Eversole of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Lanesboro officiating.
