•Julene Earley of Fountain graduated Cum Laude from Southwest State University on May 6th.
•Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, IA, announced the graduation of Armanda Hall of Lime Springs, Renee Frank of Spring Valley, and Marie Moeller of Spring Valley.
•Erin Woxland of Rushford graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a BS in Home Economics Education.
•Kirkwood College in Cedar Rapids, IA announced the graduation of Jessica Boeckmann and Matthew Miner, both of Lime Springs, IA.
•Kari Rabe of Chatfield; Jordan Redalen of Fountain; David Coyle of Harmony, and Christine Ullom of Spring Valley all graduated from Iowa State University’s Ames campus.
•Among the 1,036 students who received degrees from the University of North Dakota this spring were Eric Werner of Lanesboro and Amy Crussel and Carolyn Rose both of Spring Valley. All three students graduated with honors.

•Lindsay Gartner, daughter of John and Patricia Gartner of Preston, has been awarded a $2,000 Sisters of the Order of Saint Benedict Scholarship for the 2000-2001 academic year by the College of Saint Benedict. Gartner is a sophomore at CSB.
•Trista Fingerson, daughter of Shirley and Tillman Fingerson of Fountain, has been awarded a $750 Cenex Harvest States Foundation Cooperative Studies Scholarship by the University of Minnesota. She is pursuing a degree in Agricultural and Food Business Management.
•Mary Aggen, daughter of Barb and Lynn Aggen of Harmony, has been awarded a $1000 College of Agriculture, Food, and Environmental Sciences Scholarship at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities Campus for the 2000-2001 school year. She is pursuing a degree in Agricultural Industries and Marketing.

•Alissa Dornink of Preston is among 18 Northwestern College students who studied in Taiwan earlier this summer. She toured social agencies, government offices, the national police academy and a national prison while studying religion and social problems caused by Taiwan’s rapid modernization. Dornink is a junior at Northwestern College in Orange City, IA, and is majoring in sociology.Graduation announcements
