Today I feel like the wind, going fast, in every direction and don't know where Ive been or where Im going. Did you ever have days like that? Sometimes I complain about all the things I have to do, and yet most things make me feel good to think Im able to do them. I hate to hear people say they dont know what to do and the best medicine for that is to have a hobby. I love to cut out quilt blocks and sew, put my puzzles together (100 piece ones). I now have 89 puzzles on hand, ready when I want to, and if I get sleepy, Ive got the most comfortable bed in the world and a little nap doesnt hurt anyone. One of the best things to do (and is so rewarding) is to read the Bible, the greatest book ever written. Dont forget to visit the shut-ins and the nursing home. Thank God for being busy; wind or no wind, Ive got a lot to do today.

Dont just put in a day -
Put something into your day.

What a good world this would be if we could forget our troubles as easily as we forget our blessings.

You Cant Win
While shoveling snow I murmured
In time this, too will pass.
But after spring has had her fling,
Its time to mow the grass

The Anatomy of a Farmer

Ever wonder how a medical textbook would describe a farmer? Here are a few ideas from readers:
Top of head - always wears hat to ease pain when beating head against wall.
Inside of head - works like a computer when figuring profits and losses.
Shoulders - both broad. Left shoulder slightly lower than right shoulder for looking back at past mistakes.
Hands - right hand highly developed from daily chores, left hand slightly underdeveloped from crossing fingers.
Knees - callused from praying for rain - re-callused from praying for rain to st .....
