Arnold Tieskotter, 87, of Harmony, a retired farmer, died Tuesday, August 15, 2000, at Harmony Community Nursing Home.
He was born Jan. 16, 1913, in Winneshiek County, IA. On December 26, 1942, he married Mildred Kobriger in Castalia, IA, and they farmed until their retirement.
Survivors include three sons, Clair of Harmony, Richard of Aurora, CO, and William of Preston; a daughter, Jean Mullen of Auburn, Wash.; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Eleanor Slifka of Decorah, IA. He was preceded in death by his wife, a son, a brother and a sister.
The funeral for Arnold Tieskotter was held Friday, August 19, 2000, at Greenfield Lutheran Church in Harmony, with the Rev. John Haugen officiating. Burial was in Greenfield Cemetery. Lindstrom Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
