#24 in the 30's = FC wins

FC senior guard Connor Nagle's HS career is winding down. With her final post-season eminent, she seems to be maximizing her final on-court opportunities. Against 5-18 Lanesboro, Connor and the 16-7 Falcons came out hot. The team hit 9 of its first 12 shots. Included in that spell was a series of eight consecutive possessions with a field goal, Ms. Nagle scoring 12 of those 18 points. The Burros actually scored fairly well in that same span (10 points), but the home squad still amassed a 10-point lead. Aside for a few seconds, FC held a double-digit lead the duration of the game, coasting to 59-38 victory. Nagle led the way with a wonderful 31-point, 5-three, 8 rebound, and 8 steal game. Nashia Soland was FC's second leading scorer with 10. All eight Falcons who suited up scored. Paige Hungerholt (14) led Lanesboro. Emma McGrath had 11 & 7. Sophomore Johanna Bearson scored all 10 of her points, including hitting three trifectas in the second stanza.

A night later, in her regular season finale, it was generally deja vu versus 17-7 Southland. Nagle again scored in the 30's, 36 to be exact (season-high). She again hit 5 three-pointers. With a little help from Alex Peterson (14 points), the Falcons, Nagle included, accomplished a number of things. They overcame a 27-25 halftime deficit. Nagle avenged a 9-point performance versus the Rebels earlier this year. The team avenged a 57-44 loss and won itself a second place finish in the Three Rivers Conference with a 66-57 victory. Going to the line 35 times and converting 23 attempts certainly helped (versus 7 for 19 for Southland).
