Anita Emma Runge

Anita Emma Runge left this world to be with her brothers and sisters in heaven on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Harmony Healthcare, where she had been a resident for many years. Her funeral will be Friday, May 24th at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul's (Big Spring) Lutheran Church, rural Harmony, with Pastor Linda Helberg officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church and burial will be in the Big Springs Cemetery.



Anita was born on September 15, 1919 to Carl and Louise (Haas) Runge in the family home in rural Harmony, Minnesota.



Anita was a kind, humble, caring person who always had a smile on her face. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul's (Big Spring) Lutheran Church where she was baptized and confirmed, attended Sunday School, Luther League, and was a member of the Ladies Aid and Circle.



She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers-Leonard, Millard and Carl; and her sisters-Ruth, Esther and Lottie. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Marie Runge; special friend, Cheryl Elliot; and many nieces and nephews.



Lindstrom Funeral Home, Harmony is in charge of the arrangements.



Memorials are preferred to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
