Letter about Stan Gudmundson’s commentary

To the Editor,

Poor Colonel Stan! (Stan Gudmundson, Colonel, USAF retired) Although he penned his missive before Tuesday’s elections, he did intimate all us groundlings would be making a big mistake if Barack Obama was reelected to a second term. I’m sure he is absolutely apoplectic, confused, and in a deep funk over the American voter’s choice, which he said would be a terrible mistake. Perhaps Republican Bobby Jindal, governor of LA had it right: “We have to stop being the party of stupid,” meaning the Republicans, and we all know the wild ‘n crazy guys he was referring to. Colonel, allow this old back-rank Private, infantry medic, and canker mechanic to offer a little prescription for your condition: get over it, sir. Start a hobby. Take the missus on a vacation; you know, maybe the Bahamas or the Cayman Islands? And forget this Benghazi stuff! Benghazi-Shmenghazi! It’s so yesterday!
