Letter about Greg Davids...

Mon, Oct 20th, 2014
Posted in Wykoff Letter to the Editor

To the Editor,

Every time an election rolls around, we hear a new round of ads that say the same old thing. We all hear that the candidate works for us, they hear and value what we have to say, etc., and every year, I feel less represented and less heard.

This fall I went to Greg Davids’ office out of shear frustration with a problem. I didn’t expect much, but from the minute that I walked into his office, Mr. Davids stopped what he was doing, put away his papers, and actually looked at me and heard me. He asked questions that helped to pinpoint the problem and then made a few calls on my behalf. I can’t say that everything was fixed by these calls, but I will tell you, that for the first time in a long time, I actually felt heard and represented. This election, I guess I won’t be voting for the lesser of two evils...I will be voting for one man who listened to a woman who came into his office unannounced, asking for an explanation, and got one. Thank you, Mr. Davids, for making me feel represented again.
