FILLMORE COUNTY, MN

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS-

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be accepted by the County Engineer, at the Fillmore County Highway Department, Preston, MN. until 1:30 p.m. on the 18th day of April, 2005, for the following project(s):

S.A.P. 23-608-037; Concrete Bridge Deck Replacement, Street Approaches, and Pedestrian Path; on CSAH #8, located in City of Lanesboro over the Root River; Section 13, T103N, R10W. Major quantities include: 7974 sf of Concrete Deck removal, 7945 sf of Concrete Deck, 211 lf of Type F rail, 211 lf of Type P-1 rail, 99,140 lbs rebar, and grading items/materials for approaches. Plan and proposal price for one project set is $25.00.

Plans, proposals and specifications can be examined and obtained from the Fillmore County Highway Department, 909 Houston St., Preston, MN 55965, ph #507-765-3854. Requests for plans and proposals for pickup must be accompanied by a check, draft or a money order, payable to the Fillmore County Treasurer, in the amount mentioned above. Plans sent by US mail will cost an additional $5.00 per set.

Bids submitted must be individually sealed, and identified on the outside for each specific project. A bidder’s bond or a certified check in the amount of at least 5% of the total amount bid and payable must accompany each bid to the Treasurer of Fillmore County.

Fillmore County reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
