Influenza vaccination clinics for local communities

Fillmore County Public Health will be offering seasonal influenza vaccinations for people over the age of six months at four remaining community clinics. These clinics will be held at the following locations:

Kingsland Elementary School Conference Room located at 705 North Section Avenue in Spring Valley on November 8, 2010, from 4:00 to 6:30 PM.

Chatfield Elementary School located at 11555 Hillside Drive in Chatfield on November 10, 2010, from 4:00 to 6:30 PM.

Lanesboro School Library located at 100 Kirkwood Avenue in Lanesboro on November 10, 2010, from 4:00 to 6:30 PM.

Fillmore Central High School Media Center located at 145 Main Street in Harmony on November 15, 2010, from 4:00 to 6:30 PM.

The cost of the flu vaccination is $25.00 each. Adults with Medicare Part B or children under age 18 on MnCare or Medical Assistance can receive the flu vaccination free of charge if their insurance cards are presented at the clinic.

Minnesota health officials identify more illnesses linked to raw milk
