Felony Disposition

• Matthew Everett Vesey, 45, of Emmitsburg, IA, was placed on probation for ten years after pleading guilty to two counts of criminal sexual conduct involving a male minor in his care.

Judge Robert Benson sentenced Vesey to 30 months in prison for one felony count of criminal sexual conduct and 38 months in prison for a second count of criminal sexual conduct. Fourteen other charges were dismissed. Benson stayed execution of sentencing for 10 years, ordered Vesey to serve 90 days in jail and pay a fine of $1,500 on each count. According to court documents, Vesey admitted to having sexual conduct with a minor male who was in his care when he lived in Fountain. The events took place in 1984 and 1985. Vesey served time in the Iowa correctional facility in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa prior to facing criminal charges in this case.

• Freddie Lee Littrell III, 41, of Spring Valley, was sentenced to 18 months in prison after pleading guilty to felony domestic assault and fleeing a police officer, a misdemeanor.
