More appreciation for your ride:

If you are in the market for a different vehicle, do the prices seem high? Well, for the first time in a while, used vehicles are higher now than 3 years ago. I will go to the auctions and see a 2006 car bring as much, if not more, than a year ago. In the case of more fuel efficient vehicles, I have seen a 30% plus increase. The difference now from 2008 (the last time gas was near $4.00 a gallon) is the trucks and SUV's have not gone down, as people have found out that a hybrid won't pull a camper or haul 6 people. As always, do your research and determine what vehicle will do all you need it to do and then find the best deal you can get.

I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day.

Remember when a car reached 100,000 miles, it was considered close to be wore out? Well, now with fuel injection, better oils and filters, etc., it is not uncommon to get over 200,000 trouble-free miles. A big part in achieving this is to follow your .....

Absolutely. Both of these infections are common and can be fatal. All it takes to contract them is a bite from an infected mosquito (heartworms) or tick (Lyme disease). Even if your dog is on a monthly heartworm preventative, it's still important to .....
