RASA's summer musical production

Fri, Jun 24th, 2011
Posted in Arts & Culture

RASA's Summer musical production July 13th through July 17th will be NUNSENSE II, The SECOND COMING. This is a change and should be noted on all Rushford Days Posters. Original plans for "Bye, Bye, Birdie" were abandoned when too few auditioned.

NUNSENSE II, THE SECOND COMING, will be directed by Judy Myers and will star PJ Thompson as Mother Superior, Kristen Ekern as Sister Hubert, Emily Frick as Sister Robert Anne, Jana Petersen as Sister Amnesia, and Stephanie Wick as Sister Leo.

Nunsense II is the sequel to the international hit musical NUNSENSE. You may remember that RASA did that performance in 1997. It could easily be described as "the rest of the story".

The same five nuns are back on stage and they have staged a "Thank You Program" for their supporters. Since their first time out was such a success, they have decided that they should stick to their successful variety show formula. The music and laughs are abundant. You will come away delighted with the experience.

The show will be in the Rushford-Peterson High School Auditorium on Hwy 43 in Rushford. Show time is 7:30 pm July 13, 14, 15, and 2:00 pm July 16 & 17. Tickets for the show will be available ahead of time at Rushford Foods or by calling 507 864 7525 and leaving a message. Tickets may also be available at the door.
