Union Prairie Youth Toy Show: fun for the whole family

Fri, Jul 30th, 2010
Posted in Arts & Culture

Looking for something fun to do with the whole family? Nowadays it seems that you can't find something for the entire family to do without it burning a hole in the pocketbook. But, the Union Prairie Youth group has the fix to this problem: it's the 3rd Annual Union Prairie Youth Toy Show.

Unless you are a tractor collector, or have some sort of collection, you probably have no idea of what a toy show entails. The toy show has so much for the entire family, and since it's the only toy show in southeastern Minnesota, it's a unique opportunity to be able to see it. The toy show this year has: toy tractors, NASCAR, trucks, farm sets, assorted crafts, and miscellaneous. There is also a bake sale provided by the families of the church, and lunch is offered throughout the day.

We encourage everyone to come out and take a look around! It is on August 14th, located in Preston at the Poet Building on Hwy 52. Doors open at 9 a.m. and close at 3 p.m. General admission is only $2 and children that are 10 and younger are free! So we really hope you will come visit us!
