Dean’s List
•Ryan Horihan of rural Lanesboro, an engineering major at Purdue University in Indiana, earned academic honors for the spring 2000 semester.
•Aaron Buzza, son of Kathy and James Buzza of Lanesboro and Alicia Lacher, daughter of Cynthia and Gilbert Lacher of Rushford, were both named to the Winter/May Dean’s List at Wartburg College in Waverly, IA.
•University of Wisconsin - Stout, has announced it’s Chancellor’s Award recipients. The award is presented to students who have a GPA of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale. Local students who were recipients include: Rachel Thieke of Chatfield; Christopher Benson of Lanesboro; Teresa Kingsbury of Peterson; Erin Woxland of Rushford; and Brian House of Spring Valley.
Graduation Announcements
•Crystal Larson, daughter of JoAnne and Gary Larson and Sarah Sovereign, daughter of Sheryl Sovereign. both of Lime Springs, IA graduated from Wartburg College in Waverly, IA.
•Christina F. Larson of Lime Springs, IA graduated with honors from the University of Iowa with a BA in Art History and English.
