Frederick H. Jacobson

Frederick Jacobson, 66, of Harmony, a retired Unisys employee, died Thursday, November 23, 2000, at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse, WI, where he had been a patient a short time.

Born May 25, 1934, in Fillmore County, he graduated from Harmony High School in 1953 and attended DeVry Technical Institute in Chicago. He served in the Army and was stationed at Fort Lewis in Washington. After his retirement from Unisys in St. Paul, he returned to Harmony and later moved to Green Lea Manor in Mabel. Mr. Jacobson was a member of the Masonic Lodge and enjoyed traveling, fishing, photography and coin collecting.

Survivors include a brother, Arden of Green Lea Manor; and a sister, Marlene (Harvey) Fishbaugher of Harmony.

The funeral for Mr. Jacobson was held Monday, November 27, 2000, at Greenfield Lutheran Church in Harmony, with the Rev. John Hagen officiating. Burial was in Crown Hill Cemetery in Preston. Lindstrom Funeral Home in Harmony was in charge of arrangements
