Two local students were on the spring graduation list at Wartburg College, Waverly, Iowa: Aaron Buzza, of Lanesboro (B.A.; Magna Cum Laude), son of Kathy and James Buzza and Rylan Rendahl, of Ostrander (B.A.) son of Gail and Gregory Rendahl.

Tanis Katrina Theiss, daughter of Norman and Kay Theiss of Fountain, was named to the Deans list at Buena Vista University at Storm Lake, Iowa

Brent Hadoff, son of Diane and Steven Hadoff of Preston, was named to the University of Minnesotas Carlson School of Management, Spring Semester 2001 Deans List. Brent, a 2000 graduate of Fillmore Central High School is a sophomore majoring in business.

Kristen Kelly and Megan Lynch, both of Lanesboro, were named to the Deans List for spring semester 2001 at Winona State University, Winona, MN.

Vicky Boggs, of Fountain, received her degree from Viterbo University, La Crosse, WI on May 13 during spring commencement.

The following students received the Chancellors Award for second semester at the University of Wisconsin-Stout: Rachel Thieke, Chatfield; Paul Tollefsrud, Mabel; and Jennifer Dittrich, and Kristin Vogt, both of Spring Valley.

Vicki Truka, of Lime Springs, Iowa, was named to the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, Deans list for spring 2001.

Dawn Drogemuller, of Preston, was named to the Deans List for the spring 2001 semester at Kirkwood Community College, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Amy Becker, of Spring Valley, was named to the spring Deans List at Mount Mercy College, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Christian Heritage High School of Wykoff, MN was represented at the A.C.E. Ministries International Student Convention (ISC). The gathering took place at the University of Missouri-Columbia from May 26-31, 2001. Deena Grabau, of Spring Valley, joined in the group of 4001 students participating in the ISC. Deena is the daughter of Randy and Wendy Grabau.
