Mildred Eck, 84, of North Fort Myers, formerly of Wykoff, died September 11, 2000. She was born in Racine and resided in Wykoff before moving to Fort Myers in 1969.
Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Marvin Eck; two sons, John S. (Mary I.) Metcalf of Fort Myers and George D. (Marie) Metcalf of Taylor, Texas; a stepson, Randy S. Eck of Fort Myers; a stepdaughter, Debbie Holliman of Colorado; 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Verda Vickers, Marlyn Iverson and Lola (George) Lawson, all of Minnesota; and a brother, Harold "Pete" (Leonora) Thompson of Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her first husband,George Metcalf; a daughter, a stepson, two grandsons and a brother.
A memorial service for Mildred "Millie" Eck will be 1:30 p.m. Oct. 21 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Wykoff. Services were Sept. 15 in Fort Myers, FL. Burial was in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens and Cemetery.
