Auditor/Treasurer:
•Board approved the Resolution 2022- 015: For Snowmobile Club Sponsorship for
Tri- County Trailblazers, Mabel- Canton Trail busters, Hiawatha 1 & 2 and Bluff Valley
Riders
Facilities:
•Board approved to purchase a new Green Works 82- Volt 25 inch deck self-
propelled lawn mower and two batteries and a battery charger from Run Right
Power Equipment for $1,379.96
Highway/Airport:
•Board approved out of state travel for Joshua Lensing to attend a Federal Highway
Administration program entitled Project Bundling “How to” Peer exchange to Sylva,
North Carolina, from 06/27/2022-06/29/2022
•Board approved the amendment to the motion that if scholarships were obtained
for Joshua Lensing, Engineer in Training and Ron Gregg, Engineer, then both
employees would be approved for out of state travel to Sylva, North Carolina to
attend the Federal Highway Administration program entitled Project Building “How
to” Peer Exchange from 06/27/2022-06/29/2022, the main motion was unanimously
approved
Human Resources:
•Board approved the retirement of Eugene Johnson, Jailer, effective September 30th,
2022 after almost 20 years of service with thanks
•Board approved to advertise for replacement full time jailer
•Board approved the request to hire Carter Hovland as Summer Help Transfer
Station Attendant
•Board approved the request to hire Wade Anderson as part time deputy
•Board approved the request to hire Adam Sveen as Highway Maintenance
