Rushford-Peterson senior Andrew Hoiness hustles past Randolph’s Nathan Weckup in effort to get a steal. Hoiness and the Bunke cousins were big parts of a 15 three-point-make night, as R-P beat the Rockets 73-45. They improved to 5-2. Photo by Paul Trende

Rushford-Peterson’s Justin Ruberg and Spring Grove’s Carson Gerard fight for a rebound amidst the teams’ match-up at the Trojans holiday tournament. R-P used a mid-second-half spurt to bolt ahead of the Lions, downing them 53-41 in a key 1A contest. Photo by Lee Epps
Kingsland’s Garrison Hubka just gets his shot off as Fillmore Central defenders Luke Hellickson (#3) and Will Parker (near) defend. FC, led by sophomore Jayce Kiehne’s 20 points, posted a 65-58 win over the Knights in a holiday matchup. Photo by Paul Trende
Caledonia’s Eli King gets some hangtime as Prairie du Chien defenders look on helplessly. The Warriors won two holiday games in Winona, PDC 61-44 and Waseca 77-49, a rematch of last year’s 1AA title game. The #3 Warriors improved to 7-0. Photo by Angie Meiners
